Research has shown that British Muslims are among the most disadvantaged faith groups in the UK, facing high levels of poverty, unemployment, housing insecurity, and financial hardship. By paying Zakat locally, we can help resolve a growing problem by supporting eligible recipients in our communities who are struggling silently and often overlooked. Local Zakat also reconnects us with the Prophetic tradition.
